Monster Mash

A very long time ago I started this doodle using pencil. It consisted of several loopy lines with a couple of faces drawn into the spaces. Today I added the tangle in the bottom right corner and some other tangles as fill. I used a ,005 Prismacolor pen to do the ink and decided it is too fine and doesn't show up good but does allow fine detail. The darker lines are done with a fine marker..Not good, not bad, just is!

I wanted to do a mandala, with a face but was tired of always seeing 'pretty' faces so decided to do an old man. Then somewhere along the way I decided to add some tangles to the whole...

Turtle Mandala

I signed up to do an animal mandala class but this is the only one I have done so far. The center image of turtle and circle is traced out but the remainder of the drawing I did free hand inserting some tangles in the water
